Why do I feel like this? I'm more confident and more comfortable with myself when I'm wearing guys clothes. Should I tell my family how I feel? Any advice would be appreciated. (&&&)

    It's possible you are Transgendered.

Do you feel like a guy?
Do you hate wearing anything feminine?
Have you always felt like this somewhere?

Yes, you should tell your family how you feel. You're 13, and it's better now than when you're 20. It's basically much easier when you're younger.
You'll also need to start seeing a Gender Specialist if you believe you're Trans, and he'll help guide you to whatever you need, and he can diagnose you with GID (Gender Identity Disorder)

I would actually sugest not telling your parents until your more sure than you are right now. I 'had bad dreams' and went to a psychotherapist to help me talk about them and sleep better. Therapy sucks, but they are an absolute necessity for transitioning.

It sounds like you definitely might be trans. How long have you felt this way? Is it a recent thing, or do you have memories for your childhood about feeling like you're in the wrong body.

If you want to message me, feel free. Although you can't use PMs until your a full member, so it would have to be a profile message.

I agree. Therapy sucks. But I'm in therapy for three different things and it helps. A lot. Also, ask yourself this. When you picture yourself as a girl, how do you feel. Now try it being a guy. Think about the different answers you get and think about this. Do you want to be a girl. Don't think about becoming a guy, think about stopping being a girl first.
