US visa interview tomorrow!!!

    So, the interview is tomorrow (November 14th) at 9:30 AM local time (11:30 AM UTC). I'll know the result after the interview; if they decide to give me the visa I'll have it in two days, and I'll be in the United States by Jan. 11th 2008. I'd stay for a month and a half.

    Everyone has told me that it's really hard to get the visa, especially considering that I'm poor and that if I go, it's because a friend is paying for it - so please pray to the gay gods (and the straight ones too) so that they give it to me.

    I'm really nervous... I have nothing to hide, but going to the US is a lifelong dream and if they don't give me the visa my dream will go down the commode...

    Good luck, i will be sending you good thoughts....Im sure theyll let you through, cos even though you may not be financially advantageous, you seem to be incredibly smart in the ways of computers...and didnt you say you got like 100% in one of your subjects?...thats pretty awesome...

    Best wishes on a successful interview. I think you will do fine and be heading to the US in short order. Having a positive mental attitude will help you, so get in that groove. Pulling for you.

    Yeah, I'll continue to San Francisco. I have to wait for three hours, then two and a half on the way back. So, not a very long stay...

    well, good luck.... I personally am not a fan of US customs and immigration, their lines are long and the officers are rude and intimidating (I have only had one person who was nice). Considering it is the US govt, be prepared to fill out a million forms, and be uber-patient, and it also helps that you speak english.

    5:44 AM in Montevideo - I have just gotten up! I'll catch the bus at 6:55 AM in order to be in Montevideo by 8:30. I have to be at the embassy at 9 AM. I'M NERVOUS...
