    oooh what an intriguing title!
but youre now expecting some drama because I quoted best friend

    this picture
    [IMG]

    and these quotes
are borderline mirrors of how my "best friend treats me.

99% of the time we talked on the phone was because I called them. 99% of those phone calls went to voicemail, and I never got a call or text back.

100% of every hangout, dinner, lunch, etc. was organized by me. Not once did they ever ask me out to lunch.

She did something that pissed me off, so I told them off. The next day, in hopes to move past it, I called, and surprise, I was ignored and not called back.

On a sideplot, I deleted my facebook over 2 weeks ago because I basically hate it.

At the end of the month I'm moving to Toronto for school, and will need to get a new number. I will not be giving that number to a lot of people, and since I never liked the majority of the people from my highschool, and I want to start new in TO.

With no facebook, and no number no one will be able to reach me, unless I want them too.

Im sure you all can assume exactly how this friend is,
    so my question is:
should i give them my new number or move on? we havnt talked for a while and im not at all upset.

    thanks for reading

well, you could always give the number, just don't expect anything. I find if you have no exceptions, you can't be disappointed.

Either that or cut your ties and move on, as it seems you have done.

I agree with the user above, it doesn't hurt to give your number, just don't put your heart out for it.

Ultimately it's your choice, and if you consider them a friend, you could give them your number. They may call, they may not, but "nothing ventured nothing gained". Would cutting this person out of your life affect you? Would you wish you'd given them your number after you move? You should consider these and work out what's best for you. Besides, if you do, and they never call, nothings lost

Why do you want to give your new phone number to your 'best friend'? You might want to have second look at your friendship with her before you give your number.
