Ok so i came to terms with the fact that i was gay a few months ago and i even came out. But allthough i am atracted to other guys and even when just like cuddelling with other guys or whatever i get turned on, when i watch gay porn or see pictures of naked men im not turned on. Also although im not realy atracted to them and every relationship ive had with a girl doesent work out because im not atracted to them i still can get turned on by them. Does this mean im not gay.?
Hi, and welcome to EC! There are plenty of people that, for one reason or another, aren't remotely turned on by porn. For some, the artificial nature of it isn't appealing, for others, it's the often mechanical nature of the sex, and I'm sure there are dozens of other reasons. Additionally, your unconscious mind can play a ton of tricks as you get to fully accepting being gay and try to fool you, so I think what's going on is sort of a last-ditch effort to avoid fully accepting yourself. What's really important here is the other aspects: You get turned on cuddling with guys, and feel attraction to them, yet you don't feel attraction to girls. Those sound like pretty strong indications that you're gay. Since you don't like porn, I'm guessing that your masturbation process is more about fantasy than watching porn. If so, what do you find yourself fantasizing about? If it's guys, you pretty much have your answer. If it's a little of both, then maybe you're somewhat bisexual. And I'm guessing, because of what you've said, that it's not going to be only about girls. So if you can answer that for yourself, that, too, might help you to have a clearer understanding.
maybe youre not into gay porn. im a lesbian and i mostly watch straight porn. try watching something new. or maybe youre just not into porn in general? experiment a little bit. and how do u get turned on by girls? do you want to have sex with them? if you dont. them id say your gay. i can admire mens bodies, but i dont actually want to have intercourse with them.
