He was remarkably accepting and tolerant about it. We even both cried in each other's arms and told each other that everything would be alright... So now the list is counting of those that know of my "secret", though i suspect it will be a while until i tell my parents.

But wow, what a relief this is.. And simultaneously a harbinger of anxiety. (like every time my brother talks to me, he will know im not the same person he thought i was). He even said, "of course I'm a bit shocked by this news, but you have nothing to be ashamed about or fear."

Yes, I had the exact same feeling after I told my best friend and my parents! Even though I felt great and relieved, there was this mysterious anxiety I couldn't put my finger on. Needless to say, it's all but vanished now.

I don't know exactly, it's hard to say. It was just kind of like one day, I realized it wasn't really there anymore. It's different for everybody. Don't sweat it!

I'd say I went through anxiety after telling everyone. I found I spent so long worrying that my family and friends would reject me upon finding out that I also like guys that even after telling them I still had that fear in my head. After finding/seeing that it wasn't really there and they did accept me - it disappeared and I became a lot more relaxed. Think it's just the "after effects" of coming out.

Congratulations! Anxiety after coming out is normal. Everyone is profoundly readjusting their worldview. When the dust settles you'll just be left with relief. (&&&)
