I went to my first parade last June and it was awesome. I was working in the neighborhood and I decided why not. I didn't see much because I had to go home but it gave me a strange sort of confidence.
Heh, Calgary has a gay rodeo, apparently. I can't help but wonder what makes that different from a normal rodeo...Maybe the cowboys just wear nicer jeans.
LOL. nicer jeans!! There are quite a few gay pride events going on around here, but I have yet to attend any of them
I know my hometown has one every year, but I've yet to go to it. I ended up being away from town, which was frustrating. I'll definitely have to try to go, this upcoming year.
