I sat my mother down about an hour ago and talked to her. I read her what I had typed out to all of you (the two most recent posts, at least). I told her about being a transgender (which type, I'm not sure). She took it well. She is going to take me to my family doctor to talk to and he should be able to point out the right concilors to go to. I'm honestly extremely nervous as I suck at talking to people, but I'm amazing at writing it all down, which is what I did for my mother by using the posts I've made her and editing them just the slightest when reading them.

So, I guess this is the next step. Like I said, I'm extremely nervous (but there is no set date as far as meeting my family doctor goes). I hope all goes well.

    I'm the same way.

It's really nice to hear that your mother is so supportive of your being transgender!

Thanks! I'm not sure when she's going to schedule it, but I'll probably keep all of you updated.

Okay, that makes more sense. Thanks! And no need to apologize.

Gender identity (I guess I can call it that) has nothing to do with orientation. Honestly, it's all a big blur at the moment, so I can't give you a straight answer. There is no doubt that I'm a transgender (crossdresser, I would assume, for the time being, though I don't wear [stereotypical] girl's clothing), the only question I guess would be if I'm a transsexual, or what branch (?) of the transgender spectrum I am.

As for my orientation, I currently identify, to close friends (but not family), as mostly lesbian, a.k.a kinsey 5.

I hope that answered your question.
