so im am going to tell my friend that i am gay i have known him for 9 years so im really hoping that it wont negativly effect our friendship. any sugestions on how to word it or should i just say it how it is? thanks for the help
Hi,my only advice would be to keep it simple and casual.Just drop it in to one of your conversations or bring it up when you have a bit of alone time with him.If you feel the need,you could confirm that your not hitting on him.Remember to ask him to keep it to himself for the time being. I always find that if you dont make coming out a big thing,whoever you are telling wont turn it into a big thing. Good luck
Be honest with him, and keeping it casual is also a nice idea, you've known eachother for 9 years its 90% of chance this wont negatively affect your friendship, and if it does then...i would ask myself "is he really the right friend?"
