Hello There, Over the years i have had some Gay guys after me, I mean to tell you these guys get a A+ for persistence, but the problem is, I'm not gay. I was when I was young and only had one homo buddy, but when his parents found out he cut it off, we were 14. Its been girls ever since. And one bad marriage. What a nightmare. So now I'm 55 living in Korea and I went to the Immigration recently and the guy there was nice but now he won't leave me alone, and I'm afraid that he can cause me problems because i work in this foreign country. He is off the scales Gay, for sure. Any advice?
Tell him directly that you're straight. If he's gay and pursuing a romantic relationship with you, that should back him off - most gay guys, especially if they're around your age, know that chasing a straight guy is useless.
The same way you'd tell a woman that you weren't interested in. First you decline politely and in a friendly way. Then, if you have to, you drop the friendly part. Then, if you have to, you drop the politely part. Lex
Thank you all for your kind advice. Today I send a text message "I'm fine, and have a new girlfriend, I'm so happy"
I'm going to completely go off on a random tangent here... sorry, can't resist! So you claim you "used" to be gay when you were younger? I'm not doubting what you're saying or anything, but I find this interesting... Do you feel like your sexuality actually changed since then? Or you just weren't sure at the time and figured it out through life experiences and relationships? I don't mean to redirect the topic of this post or anything of the sort... Just something for us all to pick our brains and ponder about I guess. :] Just thought I'd point out the underlying intriguing topic. That is all.
Glad it got resolved! No matter the gender, having someone persistent who you have no interest in make passes at you can get....frustrating. I know.
ignore their advances and act like you do not see what is going on and cut off all communication with potential gays and do not give them any contact information for you. play dumb and move on.
