Ah, some more helpful info for y'all! Hope it helps!

Did you know that the food you eat can make you more or LESS of a woman?

    It’s true!

Amazingly, over 300 different foods contain phytoestrogens (plant estrogens). These foods probably won’t feminize you on their own, but they CAN give you an extra boost if you use herbs for breast enlargement or are on hormone therapy.

Here are 3 feminizing foods to incorporate into your diet:

    1. Flax seeds

Flax seeds contain more phytoestrogens than any other food, so it’s a great idea to eat them daily. Try sprinkling ground flax seeds on cereal, yogurt, fruit and salads. (Note: They need to be ground so you can digest them and get the phytoestrogenic effect.)

    2. Soy

Soy is another high-phytoestrogen food. There are tons of soy foods available, so it’s easy to work them into your diet. Try: tofu, soy beans, soy milk, soy yogurt, soy powder, soy burgers, etc.

    3. Fruits and veggies

There are also lots of fruits and vegetables that contain phytoestrogens. High-phytoestrogen fruits include: dried prunes, peaches, raspberries and strawberries. High-phytoestrogen veggies include: alfalfa sprouts, Winter squash, green beans, collard greens, broccoli and cabbage.

Best of all, these foods also encourage weight loss. (Remember: the heavier you are, the harder it is to create a feminine body shape.)

It’s just as important to AVOID anti-feminizing foods. Here are 2 foods that increase testosterone and have a masculinizing effect:

    1. Simple carbs

Simple carbs, like sugar or white bread, increase your insulin level. Since increased insulin is related to testosterone production, it’s important not to overeat these foods.

    2. High zinc foods

Zinc is another substance that boosts testosterone levels. That means you should avoid high-zinc foods like oysters, beef, pork, turkey, chicken liver, pumpkin seeds if you’re on a feminizing program.

Like anything else, these are just starting point. Attention should be paid to your health, first & foremost, & if you ever have any concerns or allergic reactions, check with your doctor. A nutritionist can also be a really good idea as well, as they may have more advice to give you & could help to getting you on a healthier path as well. A healthy diet is very crucial for trans-women especially while on HRT. Ive also incorporated fenugreek into my diet, after checking with my doctor to make sure there would be no adverse interactions to my current medication for my diabetes. Ill see if I can touch on herbal stuff in a later post! Eat & enjoy! (&&&)

The amount of the first three that you would have to eat to make a significant difference is impractical.

If you feel an "all-natural" hormonal approach is best for you, I would much sooner suggest researching several herbs available in supplement form.

Oh, this certainly wasnt intended as a natural-feminzing regime only, simply in addition to HRT & a healthy diet. Im hoping to be starting on hormones in January, so I am adding things like soy into my diet as a supplement. I totally agree tho Zontar, the amounts needed would be absurdly impractical. But as an addendum to any healthy diet, regulated HRT regimine & herbal supplements, I dont see the harm it can do. But like I said, checking with a medical professional is always best if there are doubts...

As for herbal HRT, I have read some things concerning herbal feminization & I can even post some of it, but from what Ive read the evidence of its effectiveness can be ancedoctal at best, & since the herbal products involved are not cheap (& may also involve absurd amounts), one may want to check & do as much research into the herbal option as possible before attempting, including checking with a doctor. There are some trans-women who swear by natural, herbal HRT, while others will tell you it doesnt work at all. I guess, as with hormones like estrodril, etc, their effectiveness will also come down in part to the individual taking them...
