I am looking for a therapist, as the title states, preferrably one around my area. I have an appointment with a therapist who I was told has some experience with trans patients but specializes in gay/lesbian therapy. Considering that I am mtf trans but attracted to women thismight not be a bad thing. Just wondering if anyone here had any advice on therapists/therapy!? My appointment is tuesday, the insurance I have will cover it. The therapist is also female. These three things were things I was looking for, but it's an hour away and even further from college. as a secondary question, are there any tips on therapy and transition during college?
