Is it normal to feel secondhand embarrassment watching porn?

I dont think its weird, I dont like over sexualized girls, if I want to look at pictures of 'hot' girls or what I conceive to be 'hot' girls they would be fairly plain, girl next door kind of girls. I find pictures of girls in just underwear or girls striking sexy poses, a total turn off.

the exact thing happens to me. except im a guy so thats part of why im so confused. not really in a porn aspect but like when im with my friends and they act like idiots saying stuff like "that girl has a nice ass" and stuff like that i find that incredibly rude and feel like women should be respected and not be spoken of like that. maybe its because i just dont feel the same attraction to girls like they do. when i find a girl hor and/or pretty its usually because of their face like their eyes, their smile etc. not their body. But when it comes to guys... well thats a diffrent story

 

I have exactly the same issue. In the case of being straight, it makes total sense on why you'd want to watch porn of the opposite gender. Opposite gender turns you on, therefore porn of the opposite gender turns you on; its not that hard to understand. And for me, I could do that easily. Watching/reading porn with guys in it, it's pretty simple to just turn off your mind and enjoy the sexy.

Girls though ... Something about that. Unless it's seriously portraying an intimate relationship, and just feels uncomfortable. You can't really imagining yourself doing that to girl you like. That's just fine. Might be weird if you compare it to the opposite end of the coin, but if anything, that makes you a bit of better person. Even in fantasies, you just want to go for the nice girl with the cute smile, not the oil rubbed, spread eagle porn star.

I don't really care about the pictures of naked guys either way, but whenever I see one of those random adds that show an attractive, naked woman, I have a hard time tearing my eyes away and I am seriously tempted from time to time to search for more.

I'll read almost any kind of erotic fanfiction, but there too, I prefer reading the lesbian fanfictions and stories. And I prefer the ones that build up a relationship between characters first.
