Advice about parents

    I was thinking about coming out and well there was this gay rights in Dominica documentary on TV and they where just like "oo mute that junk"?? And where i live there isnt much gay acceptance so im kinda lost.

    Usually if it becomes personal (like, say, their son is gay) then it suddenly becomes important, because they can distance themselves from it if it isn't personal. When it becomes personal they have to face it and usually their son is more important than their previous ideas.
