Now I know it doesn't happen with some friends but I'm gonna ask it anyway. Now for started I know this won't happen cuz my friend is straight and I'm gay and he might think it a bit weird. I don't fancy my friend btw. Anyways I wanted to know some things: 1)Is wanting to masturbate with another guy weird? 2)Have any of you masturbated with your friends/best friends? 3)How would you go about bring it up in conversation I wouldn't say anything because I know for certain he wouldn't and I don't wanna ruin a friendship over something silly but I wanted to know other guys or girls experiences.
I have yeah. It honeslty gets to be a bit awkward. I was in sort of the same boat with a guy friend. It got awkward because: 1.) one person finishes first and then they're like "ok, I'll just chill for 5 minutes while you finish up", which is awkward for both people 2.) if you're gay, at least from my experience your eyes may drift from the porn to your friend, which can be slightly awkward if caught 3.) it puts a slightly weird feel on the friendship I don't think it's weird to want to do it if you like the person or even if you're both gay, or maybe if youre both straight, but itgets weir between a straight guy and a gay guy.
Wanting to isn't weird. Why would that be weird? I agree that you shouldn't bring it up with your straight friend, though, especially so soon after coming out to him. That would make things really awkward.
Yeah. I know... I mean I was never going to ask him cuz I know what the response would be and besides I wouldn't wanna make the friendship difficult. Just since I'm starting to come out I've been wanting to explore a few things. Maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself at the moment
I'd go very cautiously, as it would be easy to make him feel uncomfortable. I will say that I've noticed a shift in attitudes among guys who are currently under, say, 25 or so. 10 years ago, masturbating with another guy automatically made you gay in most guys eyes. But among many younger people, it seems that masturbating is beginning to be seen, at least by some, as just a casual activity that you do to feel good, and so there's less stigma about doing it with a schoolmate or friend of similar age. I know of a number of straight guys who, for example, seem to think nothing about watching straight porn together and masturbating to it. So while I think it's definitely less shameful than it was in prior years, it's still something you have to really think about before approaching it, and you have to be clear that it could introduce an awkwardness to the friendship.
Yeah. I don't thing I will bring it up from my POV he might take it the wrong and things could mess up the friendship. I just wanted to know if others have and succeeded or failed, etc etc
