Paranoid or safety conscious?

    Tonight I'm with and we are making out pretty heavy. While kissing. He is kissing kinda hard. I start to taste a bit of blood :-/ so I take a shot of tequila. What II want to know is it possible to contract HIV this way?

    theoretically yes, any exchange of blood, even a few accidental squirts near mouth or eyes (openings into the internal body) is a risk to viral infections like HIV.

    Possible but not as likely as blood or semen in your eye or ass.

    I would suggest getting tested, but no sense getting tested sooner than a month or so, as any earlier and the results won't be reliable unless you get the really expensive test (last I heard, PCR was the state of the art) that is about 90+% accurate at about 14 days.

    I don't mean to worry you. The risk is pretty low, but getting tested is a wise idea.
