So im 18 and living out of home atm and have finally started coming out to my firends. So far, all good responses  Am at home for a week and a bit and am planning on telling the parents. Not too worried, just nervous.

But what has really got me thinking, is how do i explain this to my younger sisters - 12 and 13. Do i need to? Can i wait till i think they'll understand?? If anyone has some advice on this, some tips/experience stories would be greatly appreciated.

yay for you!! I retreated back into the closet and went into denial at around 17, really pissed at myself now for that. anyway, I'd say your sisters are old enough to tell. I was around that age when I started struggling with my sexuality. I've only told a counselor and one close friend. I feel like the rest is a long ways away for me at the moment.
