i want to come out of the closet.
    i am scared to.
but i feel compelled for some reason.
    don't know why.
i just emailed my female doctor to say i need to see a GID specialist and asked for a referral. I came out to her.
Now i just thought, I need help.
i need God to encourage me to be truthful and not be afraid of what others may think.
i would like anybody who wants to please pray for me to become able to be out more.
i want to tell others i know will support me.
just need something to push me the right way.
    thanks.

I'm not religious but I hope the best for you. :icon_wink

  3. I'll pray for you.

You've already come a long way DNB, so you should be proud already! ^_^

You've got EC for support if need be, and of course it's scary. Deep breaths. In a way, being LGBT etc. teaches you things about life. Who's going to love you, and stand by you and support you 100%, who's not 100% on board, but you can help them learn, and who's going to completely abandon you.

You're awesome and much respect to you! Baby steps indeed.

Like Night Rain I am not religious, but I will think about you and hope for the best. I'm sure there are people who will accept and support you. I know how scary it is to come out, I mean I'm not 100% out either. But we can do it. You can do it. And of course EC is and will always be here for support.

Also, congrats on coming out to your doctor!

I think it's great that you're able to move forward on this- but even if it seems like a little step to you, it's a step closer to coming out, and that's something to be proud of.
Because once you're out, you can't really be "caught," can you?

And it's awesome that you're going to help these kids, we all know they could use it.

I always pray to God asking him to help all struggling LGBT people, and I'll certainly ask Him to help you specifically .
