Mowing lawns, newspaper route, babysitting, yard work, doing errands for people, some restaurants hire 15 year olds, lots of things you can do!
Yeah around where i live...its like apartments and stuff and the newpaper truck delivers newspaper..if anyone around here gets them >< Grrr...NY !
Try looking for ads in the paper. A lot of employers tend to advertise there when looking for junior employees.
I was a dishwasher at age 14. find a restaurant that is hiring. they ALWAYS are looking for dishwashers.
Paper Route? But the best thing to do..is if you can't get a job...do volunteer work. It'll help you when your old enough to get a job.
I remember when I was a teenager, I used to the paper route thing until I got sick of it and wanted something a bit higher paying. Come to think of it, I never did get that higher paying job until much later...
The best way to find jobs is through "networking," so make sure to let your parents and all your parents' friends and friends' parents know that you're looking for a job. The suggestion to volunteer is also excellent, because then you have something to put on your resume later on. Plus you usually learn valuable skills. Or at least you can say you "officially" demonstrated skills you already have.
There's always fast food. I personally worked at a Wendy's for a year when I was 15. It certainly wasn't great, but it was good money for a 15 year old. Of course, I didn't manage to save any of it...
So, fast food, dishwasher and networking don't forget also that there can be dog walking, cleaning elderly people's houses or doing their shopping or even just accompanying them because they don't like to go out alone. Ask your neighbours, friends, family if they know of anyone who would be happy to have a couple of hours work done a week. If people are going to let someone in their house/appartment they normaly want a reference of some kind and knowing that you are so and so's nephew or a neighbour's son etc will help open doors for you. If you are willing to turn your hand to anything there are jobs out there but you have to get out there and find them they won't come to you. Good Luck
