A little bit of a problem...

    :smilewave Hi guys just found out my bestie is bisexual. well, she was straight until reccently. anyway, I... have had this on and off crush on her for the two years we've since we've been friends. Problem is I'm nervous to tell her how I feel/make a move. I'm also in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend of almost 7 months. This girl is like my soul twin I really love her, but there's problems of her mom or my dad finding out our sexuality, her mom already thinks we're in a lesbian relationship enough as it is, she badly doesn't get alone with her mom. Btw how do i talk about her newly found self- discovery? (I hope is not a phase I really love her) and not to be to be ashamed etc. btw sorry for the typos :eusa_doh:

    oh gosh this situation sounds familiar..
    right. first of all you should be questioning your current relationship with your boyfriend.
    obviously if you Are seriously thinking of getting into any sort of relationship with this girl then you need to break up with your boyfriend.
    more importantly you Should be thinking if that relationship is right anyway since You clearly have feelings for your friend.

    talk to her about how and when she realised her sexuality and perhaps why she thinks that she is bi? that should give you a good idea of whether she is serious about her sexuality or (and sadly I have seen this happening certainly in the cosplay community) just jumping on a fad?

    that's a start.

    Actually she talked about how she got excited or happy seeing a pretty girl in a picture so, that's how I know. Thanks btw

    good luck.

    for about a year and a half I had a thing for my best friend.
    I knew anyway that she liked girls, I mean she had a fair few girlfriends in the time I knew her..
    so the situation youre in is slightly similar.

    You did not make a mistake. You reacted and did things based on the info you had at the time. You made the best decision that you could. Rejection hurts trust me I know. Time will pass and you feel better. I'm so sorry. Let me know if I can help you.

    Mistake? As IF! Would you rather have lived your life not knowing how she felt? Telling her how you feel puts you one step closer to getting the closure of not having those feelings returned.

    It's going to hurt, not gonna lie, but something ALWAYS comes out of getting turned down. When my crush rejected me, I realized what my orientations REALLY is and now there's no more confusion.

    Just stay on the positive side. No sad faces on this train. Now let's see a smile.

    Have you talked to her much ever since? Like y'all still hang out regularly and all or do things feel awkward when you hang?
