Might be gay, but not sure

If you enjoyed it and you're mostly attracted to guys, you're probably gay. However, you need to define experiment a little better. Do you mean something like masturbating simultaneously? Or do you mean watching porn together? Or something I won't mention on this thread?

One thing I do believe is that the human body hormonally will always be attracted to whatever it's attracted to, so if you were 100% straight and spent your entire life in the basement, you'd come out having masturbated, and when you compared a guy vs. a girl there'd be very little doubt in your mind.

All that being said, you said you'd be OK with being gay, so I won't say anything like, "It's not all bad!" Have fun on EC!

When I was younger me and my pals experimented all the time. But once we got caught. It just went by the wayside.

Did that prove I was gay? I don't think so. But I remember it fondly:icon_wink

 

If you really enjoy being with guys and are attracted to it then just run with it. You've tried girls and that didn't really work out or make you happy right?

 

Aw, please don't think that. If that is something you are struggling with, there are a few videos I can recommend you watch to help paint a different perspective on that.

 

You might be bisexual or gay. But everything you said is normal. I would just go with what you feel you like. It's not like everyone is demanding to hear from you if you're gay or bi or straight. You don't owe anyone an answer. You have time to figure out what you like. You're only 17. Just go with what you like and you will figure it out.

I used to do the same with one of my friends when I was about 13 - 15. I thought guys were good looking, but I didn't really feel like I would have sex with one or date one - - just fool around. It wasn't until I was about 19 that I wanted to date a guy. And the friend I did it with is now dating a girl. I am pretty sure he's straight. So we both figured out what we like I guess.

 

Well, when I was 12/13 years old, I used to experiment quite a lot with a friend of mine. I knew we were doing a little more than other guys our age were doing together, so I never really told anyone about it. Still, it never once crossed my mind that that might have been an indication that I wasn't straight.

It was only when it was pointed out to me that yes, straight guys experiment, but usually really don't do anything more than just masturbating together (and separetely) that I figured it might've meant something (and it did).

So I don't know what exactly you guys did, but if it involved more than just masturbating, *and* you say you're pretty much only turned on by guys...

You could always try and get married somewhere else.. in my home country (Netherlands) gays can get married in Catholic churches. I'm sure there are other countries as well where it's possible?

I wish the Catholic Church allowed that here in the states. Depending on my mental mood, either God made me this way or I am going to Hell. So go figure:dry:

 

I agree with that Wolfman, I'm not catholic, im lutheran, but even so, thats the hardest thing for me. I still have my faith, (idk if you do) but my religion still doesnt accept a gay lifestyle. But thats where my own beliefs come into play. Just don't worry about it too much, it's better for YOU to be comfortable and happy with yourself than to worry about other people accepting you. I havnt told my family im bisexual yet. but i told my mom years ago... she thinks i "outgrew" it. but really i just dont know how to bring it up again. because it didnt go well the first time. anyway, i wish you the best! whatever path you may choose!
