Hey, I recently decided that I would come out to my schools counsellors but I was wondering how to do it and I know many will just say to just go up to them and say it but I was hoping for a bit more detailed answer thanks anything will help.
If you school counselor is competent enough then they will be ready for the awkwardness that comes from having to tackle such topics. They will help you out in getting it all out the best that they can. What are you going to be coming out as? Either way, if you see your counselor isn’t well versed in either gender identity issues or sexuality then your best choice is to find someone who is.
