Was this too much?? So there´s this guy that I met, and he´s gay, but he doesnpt know I am. And I had invited him to a party, which got cancelled. Today he sent me a mssg telling me that it was too bad the party was cancelled cause now he had no plan, so I told him I didn´t either, and that if he wanted to go have lunch or dinner or something.... I feel like I went crazy, like it was too much he hasn´t answered, but I don´t know why I feel that I totally blew it or something :bang: :dry:
Stop. Get up, step away form the computer, make some tea. Drink it, kay? Then go for a walk. That will help you to center yourself. Things will be fine. Remember, he's working pretty hard to let people know he's gay, so I think he knows you want him, so just let him kind of process it. My guess is that he's newly out, so he's trying to get over this, because here's what's going on in his head---with probability 1: "OMG, there's this hot gay guy who actually wants me. OMG is this really happening?" He'll pick up the phone.
Just act aloof.... I mean don't straight up hide your emotion... but give him a little tease... just a little one . Give him something to look forward to the next time you meet (if you guys enjoy hanging out with each other the first time).
