Ok so me and my mom are talking about my sexuality now and we brought up the topic of relationships. the ONLY thing i am uneasy with before publicly coming out is do you all think it's easier for a straight guy or a gay guy to find a significant other?

It's much easier for straight men and women due to there being a much larger dating pool, among other things. However if we put in the effort, it can be relatively easy for us as well..

Well, easier in the sense that (and as Lance pointed out) there is a larger pool to choose from when it comes to finding the significant other.

That said, once you are out, it does make it easier to find someone or at the very least have a chance at starting to date, and see what's out there. I also think it depends on how much effort your are willing to put into finding someone, for example.
