that's, a mile and a half down the street from where i go to school is a gay service center. no not a porn shop/gay bar, an actual place dedicated to helping gay people. so, its only a short walk down the street, think i should go for it? possible problems: being spotted going in or walking to it could lead to outage possible good things: finally meet someone who is gay a link to the gay community in new york books so should i go for it?
Yes. The positives outweigh the negatives. Is there a way you can get in around the back? Is it a known or obvious place that straight people would be aware of? Can you wear a hoodie or something so your face is partly covered? What about getting a cab instead of walking?
Another street and the hoodie sounds good. The trouble with the bus is that school mates could be on it, if the place is near somewhere they might want to go to.
Similar to my hesitancy the first time I went into a shop that catered to the Trans community...go for it, sweetie...I disguised myself too...! D
