I've been openly gay since I was 15 and I find that closet cases are always attracted to me. I don't know why. I find that openly gay men really aren't interested in me. I've always been very open with my sexuality, at times flamboyant, in you face, loud, you know your typical liberal New Yorker But I'm always surprised that the shy, reserved, closet case types always are interested in me and I don't know why. Wouldn't they want to date/get involved with men who are closeted themselves or on the down low or whatever? I'm just perplexed as to what they would see in someone who is so GAY lol.
Maybe they look up to you and the fact that you're so open with yourself. Not entirely sure, but it could also be that their 'gaydars' are limited so they just go for the obvious gay people. Or you could just be really attractive? Who knows... :S
That could be it. In regards to my sexuality. I've never had any doubts or confusion. I always knew I was gay and never had a problem with it. And I have a very accepting family thankfully. So maybe they're picking up on that? But believe me, my confidence in my sexuality is one of the very few things I am not insecure about. There's a whole SLEW of other things I'm incredibly insecure about lol.
