There is this friend (Who I am going to call H) who I think I might be partly 'out' to...as in, I think she thinks I'm bisexual because we've both admitted to each other that if we didn't live in a homophobic country, we might consider going out with girls as well as guys. So I know she's not homophobic; in fact she's effectively bi, although I always assumed her to be more hetero (She's head-over-heals for several guys).

I feel that I ought to come out to her completely, but part of me is telling me to wait a while longer. I know she won't have a problem with it, but after what my mum said (about psychics etc), I've been feeling really paranoid and wanting to restrain myself lately.

    So...should I or shouldn't I?

It sounds like she's going to be fine with it so I would say you SHOULD!

How dangerous is it for you in a "homophobic country" . How safe is it for you to come out to H if she tells someone else, then they tell someone who could do you harm.Is this a reasonable question on my part.
Your safety and well being is important.

Aw hey go for it. If she's effectively bi, she can probably appreciate the importance of keeping it quiet until you're ready to let people know.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the advice.

Panda: That is a reasonable question, although I can't see myself being in any potential danger from telling her. She'll probably keep her mouth shut if I ask her to.

Hmm I dunno. I'm flying back to school tomorrow so I won't see her until Easter, but we talk over MSN quite a lot so I'm thinking of dropping the bomb over MSN; however I might wait a bit cos I still have some thinking to do (Paranoia sucks!).
