I'm guessing your referring to this: Parental Control Software by Net Nanny | Net Nanny Just off first glance i looks like a parental control(logging and blocking) software. However it's computer based and I think it's node based. Which means it'll only be able to log the computer it's on. Just means you'll have to get on here on your apple device (they don't have an apple IOS version) or you might be able to get away with a proxy. Like this one, but i'm not 100% sure that'll work and it really depends on what exactly that software does.
Yes, it only works on the computer it's installed on. So any other device/computer will not be logged or filtered. So your iPod Touch should be good. There are also ways to manipulate the Net Nanny installation so it doesn't function at times. You could also use Tor, as it encrypts outbound communication. Tweak firefox a little so it sends DNS requests through Tor, and boom! Impossible to see what you're doing. It's probably easier to just use your iPod Touch though xD
Google the topic. There are plenty of ways to temporarily disable Netnanny if its installed on your computer. Seems like your Mom is trying to protect you, which is understandable. At the same time you working on your sexuality is your business alone, though she may not feel that way.
