I really wanna come out to my family (specifically my mom) i just wanna know when/how is the right way to do it. I would have done it sooner, but when I told her my friend was a lesbian she said "That's a little weird, I'm not sure if I like that." Can anyone help???
There really is no "best" way to do it. You just have to come out in a way that you are comfortable. That being said, some people write letters, some people send emails (or other internet messages), some people tell others in person. If you decide to write a letter or message of some sort, feel free to post it here and we will give you some feedback! Even if you decide to come out in person, if you have a plan, you can run that by us to see what we think.
i am having the same problem, im thinking about writing a letter and leaving it with my mum. i am petrified though. hope you find a way soon x
