dreaming of an ex

    ugh...im quite sick of having dreams about my ex....its getting on my nerves.
    is there any way not to dream about your ex? or will i have to bear through it?

    I don't think there's anything you can do, since you can't control what you dream about. However, you should pay more attention to these dreams, to know what your subconscious is telling you. You did not explain the nature of them? They might be a sign you secretly want to come back to him.

    The things we dream about tend to be reflections of what we spend time thinking about during the day. It's easy to say "just stop thinking about your ex," but perhaps you could set up some kind of fail-safe for yourself - every time thoughts about her pop up, purposely refocus your mind on something else (whether the same thing every time or something different each time, whichever works).

    yes but i didn't think about her most of the day. i was daydreaming about a random girl i made up
