I'm a27 year old male and very confused about my sexuality. I am turned on by girls but mostly fantasize and pleasure myself to gay fantasies or porn. This has been going on for years now. If I'm gay that's fine I will accept it I just want to know, it is very stressfull being this confused. I just feel I cannot be honest with myself to determine this 100% I did exp when I was a teen with a friend and have exp with transsexuals as I got older and I did enjoy them. I do go to gay hook up sites and feel that I probably would hook up with a guy if I found what I was looking for. Has anyone gone through something like this? Any advice helps. Thanks guys
Im much younger than you but I know what you mean. I do on rare occasions watch straight porn but mainly i just watch gay porn and i see myself in an emotional relationship with a man. I too was very confused with whether i was going through a phase, straight, gay, bisexual; but in the end i just decided that im gay. My friends say im bi because i still have a sexual attraction to girls, but i consider myself to be completely gay. I feel completely entitled to my decision because not only is it just a superficial label, but because i know myself the best. You dont have to put a label on yourself if you dont think that label expresses how you feel. I believe that whats most important is you accept that you are attracted to more than just women. Personally i feel i have neither the right or the ability to determine your sexual orientation for you because its something that you yourself have to confirm. You know yourself the best and it should be you to decide what you want to label yourself. If you believe you really cant come to the conclusion yourself you can try talking with friends or maybe your partner. If you really want to know what i think, I would say your bisexual. but like i said, my friends would say im bi but i consider myself gay.
Thanks akhc appreciate your insight I don't really believe in labels either. I don't think I could be gay because I can sleep with women but am sexually attracted to men just as much or more then women. But if we're given the choice to sleep with a women with a amazing body or a man with a amazing body I am pretty sure I would go with the guy I don't want to label myself but I think I can admit to myself that I cannot be a heterosexual.
