Well, With a girl anyways. I'm kind of nervous. I came out to someone online who lives close by to me (but is a stranger) And she is bi and asked me out for Chinese (which seems like it's both of our favorite food). She is super cute. and I agreed. But now i'm freaking out and nervous. Not really sure what to do. I feel like calling it off already because I'm so nervous.
What's making you most nervous? Just go! Have fun. Maybe have a friend drop by and make sure everything is ok. Haha. Seriously, though....have fun! Enjoy this experience.
It's perfectly natural to be nervous, and actually, she'll probably think it's cute. If it helps, try not to think of it as a date. Just going and hanging out with someone new and getting some bangin' food. You do that with friends, I'm sure? People psyche themselves into being nervous about things by over thinking. If you find yourself getting nervous, just take a deep breath and think about something that calms you down. Get your heart-rate nice and steady, and then carry on from there. If she asks, be honest. Try to be as open as you can be without forcing it. I'm sure you'll do great and she'll think you're positively adorable
Haha, I have a hard enough time walking out of my dorm room to use the restroom because of how shy I am. Every little thing makes me nervous
I'm nervous too :> I know exactly how annoying it is and how regretful being nervous is. But you know, in the end, when I fight it and do what I'm so nervous about (usually seeing my Biology teacher), I couldn't ask for more. We have such a good time. :3 You can make it happen too!
Being the creep that I am. I had to look her up on facebook. (we were chatting through a different website) and she is in a relationship with someone on facebook. Now, I really don't know what to do.
She might not still be in a relationship with them. Just because you saw it on the internet doesn't make it true
Add her as a friend on Facebook, and then ask her about her relationship status. I don't think it's weird to look someone up on Facebook that you met elsewhere, that's what it's for.
We're all internet stalkers/creeps to some varying degree. You can ask her if she's in a relationship without bringing up what you saw on facebook. If she tells you something otherwise, then wait to see if she'd rather talk about it at dinner. Although, it's destructive to ask about ex's on a first date, so if you do it, expect some backlash.
I ended up re-scheduling with her. I had the sniffles yesterday and figured it was the beginning of the cold. But now I'm thinking it's bronchitis (which i get every year). However, (for those of you who don't know) I'm pregnant, so this could be bad :/ I've kept my temp down below 99 with tylenol, and the weather here is too crappy to go anywhere. (i guess i really don't know whats worse. the flu or bronchitis...) Thankfully, college (should be) cancelled tomorrow, so I won't have to miss any class and I'll be able to make a doctor appointments. :/ i just feel miserable right now.
