    Hi folks, Since I joined EC a few weeks ago I have found myself looking through the discussion groups for hours each day and has left very little time for looking at porn, or perhaps more accurately I no longer feel the urge to look at so much porn. Has anyone else found this has happened to them?

    LOL - yes. I'll admit that I substituted one addiction for another. But I knew that spending time on EC, helping other people and expressing my own thoughts and feelings, was better than acting out - either by watching porn or cruising the online classifieds. And even though I wasn't being much more productive at work, I figured I was still better off.

    Ha! Yes, I have found that EC has become my new go-to spot when procrastinating. All the different views and topics with such a high turn over of posts makes this a highly attractive forum.

    lmao.

    tbh I didn't even watch porn before I joined this place, but I do notice that I'm on here frequently and it's a great procrastination tool for me.

    For me, it's more of I dropped watching a lot of YouTube to post here, which is amazing since I generally don't feel comfortable enough in lgbt mediums.

    I'm addicted enough to see that Oddish has a new avatar. :grin:

    I consider EC group therapy.

    And the more I put in (because you all challenge me, make me think, and support me). The more I get back!

    I'm certainly an EC addict. May I direct you to look at my join date and post count? (Fun and Games is too much fun)

    Hahahahah, oh man.

    I'd try to surpass your post count but I don't think I could do it in that quick of time.

    lmao yes! I spend a lot less time reading fanfics now and stressing about things I can't change. At least EC is a healthy obsession :slight_smile:

    Yes. Definitely. I'm a full-blown addict. I love the people here; I've met some wonderfully supportive, accepting people, and it makes things seem far less suffocating. :slight_smile:

    (&&&) Group hug, EC!

    It can become somewhat of an addiction. I think the aspect that prevents me from addiction are long opening paragraphs on threads and on-going chit-chat threads. I do love it here though, I feel like through this site I've gained the motivation to get my life back on track, and it's always nice to have some to help you and to return the favour
