Do not need to be shameful.

I didn't exactly know where to put this, forum-wise. Anyway...

I am sorry about the rant, even though it is short.

I got to thinking today, "Why do we have to come out to people?" We are who we are, and there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Society has a common action of ostracizing people who are different just because they feel insecure. So why must we feel nervous about telling people that we are different? Why must we hide in the shadows just because we make people feel insecure? I see NO reason why we have to be nervous about telling people we are different. Does anybody feel the same way?

I feel this way too. Why do I have to "come out" to anybody? I just want to live my life the way I know is right

Agreed, Though some part of it has to involve the family pressure to have kids I think.
