I need to end my crush on my straight friend... He has the kindest personality, he's really fun, the cutest face, and unfortunately he's straight. WHY ME?! Fortunately, he doesn't know. How do I go back to just liking him as friends?
You don't really have to, in my experience. I'm in a similar situation and I just go with the flow…if I find him attractive, so what? He doesn't have to know. What I'm saying is there's no problem in liking him. Just don't act on it.
I agree with the above comment. I always end up crushing on best friends. I eventually manage those feelings.
I've also has many a crush on my straight female friends. You just have to accept the fact they're not interested (I know. Bummer). Finding your friend attractive is not a big deal. With time you just tend to move on.
