id say, "good job" and id also say, "lets go to the beach" and " lets order chicken pot pie and watch cable"
I just recently came out in Facebook to. It was thrilling to see all the acceptance and respect I've gained with other people. Only my brother posted anything that can slightly be taken as negative. Love yourself no matter what be proud. Love it and live it
Everything has been positive so far. My dad seen it and is really angry but I couldnt care less what he thinks because he has never been part of my life. I think of his as sort of a roommate.
All I've managed to do is change my 'Interested In' thing on my profile...and nobody goes to my profile lol. I'll probably post a coming out soon...
Congratulations! My friend did this, after speaking with his kids and former wife. The response was wonderful! Let us know what people post or say to you - I'm SURE it will be great!
Congrats! I came out on FB at the beginning of the year and it was amazing! Glad your experience has been positive
Okay question? Were you already out to any of your family before you said anything? Particularly your parents? I've been debating just coming out on facebook but no one in my family knows yet... I seriously want to come out but I'm too scared of conflict and all that to be able to sit down and tell my parents. I literally ended up blurting it out to my best friend and when she didn't hear me I was too embarrassed to say it again so I told her to go look at my facebook cover photo (its of a rainbow) and that's how she figured it out and most everyone I have told so far it was by text message except one of my other friends who I also just blurted it out to.... It'd just be easier to say "So some of you already know this but it's time for everyone to know... I like girls who like girls." (Or something similar to that) on Facebook and deal with the responses that way...
