So I’m going to a boarding school in Utah soon. I kind of want to come out while I’m there because I’d rather not put effort into hiding my sexuality for a whole year. But if it’s a bad idea to come out there, then I will have to be “straight”. I don’t want anyone to hate me there. Here are some details about the place. It’s near a city in Utah. It’s an all girls place. The girls are from all over the U.S and Canada. On the application it asks the parent “Does your daughter have a boyfriend?” which kind of implies that there’s only meant to be straight girls there. I’m really worried because the place is in Utah, which is stereotyped as anti-gay for the most part. Should I come out there?
