Hi guys and gals: So I am not going to bore you guys with the details of my situation with my crush, but I want to know if it is a good idea to tell him the way I feel through text. Mostly because I would never be able to be alone with him and i am too scared to say it in person but I feel like he deserves to know the truth. So do you think it could work?
It would probably be awkward for a while but then once he is comfortable about you being gay, it'll be alright.
Yup, go for it. There are benefits to telling him via text - it gives both of you time to prepare, even if it's 5 minutes or an hour. Especially, if you don't feel comfortable enough doing it in person, he shouldn't take it the wrong way. If you do decide to tell him by text, then at least let him know that you wanted to tell him in person, but you find it too hard.
Well how did you do it? Like how did you word it? Because i am preparing myself for the worst and i really want us to be friends if anything. Not to mention i don't have many friends (which is fine) but we are in the same circle so i am afraid things will just go badly.
You didn't mention (or I missed it) if he is gay or straight. If he's straight it's probably not a great idea because there isn't much potential there of him reciprocating, which would be the only good reason to tell him. If he's gay, then go for it.
