I don't plan on coming out any time soon. But I know it's not healthy to keep all my feelings inside. I know a girl from work that I've gotten to know very well. She's gay, and has a similar life to me. Do you think it's a good idea for me to go get coffee with her one day and talk to her about me being in the closet. I think she can give me alot of good advice, and it would be amazing to talk to someone about it. Thanks.

i think it's a great idea to reach out to someone you trust, someone in the real world that is. for me, i have to rely on the online world for now, but to know that there is someone out there who you could confide in and share similar experiences with is an added plus!

Yeah dude talk to her, if you know she has been through the same thing she could really give you some good advice... I wish I was in your situation so I could talk to someone that has been through the same sort of thing, but I know no one that is gay apart from myself... go for it dude!

I'd do it, you get on well with her and she's gay so will understand what your going through. She is likely to be supportive and I'm sure she won't tell others. It's always good to have someone to talk to face to face about these things. Good luck I hope it goes well for you.

Go for it! I definitely agree that it's not a good idea to bottle it up. It can make you seriously physically sick (and I speak from experience here)

I know when I feel the most comfortable talking to others is someone who completely understands where I am. She may be the best person in your life right now to talk to.

Doesn't seem like anything but a good idea.
