Help on getting my parents view on LGBT? Please?

    Hey there,

    I'm currently out to one person in real life but am openly gay to people online who I don't know in real life. I want to come out to my parents (Mom then Dad) but I would like to get their opinion on LGBT, but discreetly. Does anyone know/have any tips for finding your parents views on LGBT discreetly?

    Well there is tons of stuff in the news right now with the recent DOMA events. You could ask them what they think about that!

    What I did was that I was talking about a homophobic kid in my class (which didn't even exist). I told the everything the "kid" said while we were having dinner and so I could see their reactions.
