I was feeling really confident tonight so I changed my orientation on Facebook to "interested in men" from nothing. After about five seconds I quickly jumped back into the closet. Why does it have to be so complicated? I don't get myself anymore.
When I changed my status, I made sure that I would be away from my computer for a while. That way, even though I had the impulse to change it back, I couldn't. That worked pretty well for me.
I did it only after I told the people close to me..my parents and sisters. It was a great feeling, but usually no one will notice unless they stalk your profile.
