My Mum has read the note and now I can't stop crying. I'm really shaken up and unsure how I feel.

Are the two of you in different places, or have you just not talked yet?

Is it normal to regret what I have just done?

Yes, it's normal...you are stepping into a new place, don't worry...you did this for a reason, remember what it is!

Lol. Kinda. Changes the dynamics of your relationship, but in time, you'll realize it's for the best. She's kind of meeting this part of you for the first time so she'll make some mistakes along the way, as will you. Good luck bro!!!

I would say that nerves and feeling a bit uncomfortable is definitely completely natural. It probably won't go away until its discussed so I would just force myself to talk to her. Once it is all said and done, all of those feelings will gradually subside.

    Hey man,

Dont let this become awkward between you and your mum. If it makes you feel better, forget about it until its time to talk.

Breathe man, take your mind of it, put some music on. Find yourself in a happy place and then go talk to her.

As others have said, it is normal. Try to talk with her. It's going to be fine. (*hug*)
