I just came out to my mom about 10 minutes ago. She took it really well and said that she'll always love me no matter what. I'm so proud of myself that I finally told her and I'm glad she still loves me. I asked her to tell my dad, and she said she will. I'm sure he'll take it well. I'm very happy
Wow! Congratulations, I wish I'd been so brave (and confident of my identity) at your age! You must be on top of the world! (*hug*)
Trust me though, I was sooo nervous but I really wanted to come out. Part of me was telling me no but the other part said yes. But I'm glad I got it overwith.
It's good for all of us to hear the "success stories" and realize that it's not always drama and judgment. Sometimes it's relief and acceptance and love. Wonderful!
So glad to hear that, after coming out to my parents I was a new happier and more open person. Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy for you person congratulations, glad it all went well (*hug*) ---------- Post added 12th Mar 2014 at 01:10 PM ---------- Wait im confused is this an old thread?
Yeah, it is kinda old. I just decided to go back and look at it to remember the exact day I came out to my mom so I can remember that September 3, 2013 was an important day in my life.
