I feel AMAZING! In the past three days, I have come out to eight people! These were close friends and people in our school's GSA-type club. But one was special... My school has half days on Fridays, so everyone goes to a little shopping center near our school for lunch. I asked my crush if she would walk to Safeway with me and she did. So, after lots of stuttering, I told her I really liked her. She's bi, but she's never dated a girl and the only reason I know is because I came out to her. I'm not sure anyone else knows. Anyway, she said no, but she was SUPER sweet about it and we're super close friends now. It was awesome! I also learned of two people I've known for a really long time who are bi/gay. My coming out seems to inspire a lot of people to do the same! (So far, it's inspired 4 people) :newcolor::newcolor::newcolor:
Congraaats! It feels so great, doesn't it? I'm happy you're still on good terms with this girl! =) And inspiring others to do it? Group coming-outs are great; you can all support each other through that first phase!
Wow. That's awesome! I'm glad you're still friends. The most important thing is that you were brave enough to do it.
