I can't believe it. I didn't plan it, wanted to get Christmas out of the way and first deal with telling my husband. But my mum came for a cup of tea today and the conversation went in a direction that made me feel like it was the right time. Her reaction? "So what?". Not in a dismissive way, but in a completely and utterly accepting way. (!)(!) Holy shitballs! She is happy for me. So happy for me, and she will be with me every step of the way. I am so lucky and I had to share.
