age: 13 (just wanted to throw that in there...) So, i decided to write a letter which basically just said that i was gay and have known for a long time,etc... Just before i went to bed i gave it to my mum and i started crying, she was shocked and asked a bunch of stuff like "How do you know, Do you like somebody?" whilst i was crying a lot ^^. (i said i didn't like someone but i lied ) Then she just went to bed and the next day was kinda awkward so we didn't really talk about it. I don't really know if she told my dad/brothers but since then we never really talked about it... I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, Either way i'm happy i came out. If nothing happens, I'd say it's a good thing, as parents who are seriously against it, would've at least said something or show that they are concerned. congratulations on coming out! and don't worry about your age, the younger you know, the better!
