This is the blog i posted to officially come out on my page. I even mention EC! "Yes, it is true- I am gay. Many people already knew, but many didn't, but I had specific reasons as to why I didn't tell those people- for fear of retaliation and even persecution. Many people that I've told had said that I make it sort-of obvious that I am. As to when I came out, For examples: 1.) Came out to 4 people at Maris/Brenda's QuinceaƱera on March 2nd, 2007. Specifically, it was Maris, Brenda, Alfonzo, and Garren. 2.) Came out to Jon sometime in April in the cafeteria during Lunch in 2007. 3.) Came out to other few members of the Quince, including Jesus. 4.) Came out to Cristina( during PE) and Izzy(over message) in May of 2007. 5.) Came out to Denise and Diana in the beginning of summer of 2007. 6.) Joined emptyclosets.com in April of 2007. 7.) Came out to Yvonne(through Jon) during Summer School. 8.) Illiana found out by seeing my "waving' arms. 9.)Jessica found out by slip of words. 10.) Came out to Seth eventually in the summer. 11.) Word spread among my family, but then again, they would do that, warping it as it went along. 12.) Took on the "gay/lesbian harassment" topic for english research paper to subtlely take pride in it. 13.) Alyssa and Jordan found out by Nvy's accident. 14.) Came out to Lupe on St.Patrick's Day. 15.) Finally came out to both parents on April 15th, 2008. 16.) Changed myspace orientation to "gay" today. So yeah, that's my story. To those who I knew and didn't know, I'm sorry, but you have to understand. It wasn't the easiest thing to carry around with me. I officially came out in March of 2007, and was paranoid from the start. I was scared to go to school. However, despite everything, i somehow survived, and I give that credit to my friends/family. They were so supportive in helping me accept it as time progressed. heck, now that I'm here- Jon- Thanks, really. You have no idea what you have done for me. Nvy- Thank you for helping me, especially in geometry. Brenda- You were one of many in confidence. Thanks for listening. Maris- Thanks for standing up to me that one day- you're awesome! Cristina- Thanks for not being mad and accepting me for who I am. Mig- Thank you for all you've done, especially in school. Garren- I was scared, but you accepted me, and I am grateful for that. Alfonzo- I was also scared telling you, but you primarily understood more than anyone that day. Thank you.. I Look forward to the day when I can finally live in peace, whether I'm alone or with someone. Finally, to those who read this and say that being gay is an abomination, i only have one thing to say- I don't CARE!"
