    Ok, so this weekend I went to my best friend's cottage with her family and her boyfriend (She's bi, i'm trying to get her to join EC! *crosses fingers*) .

    So her family is the most amazing, accepting family on the face of the planet, but I hadn't really come out to them yet.

    Well, we were driving up north to her grandma's cottage, and the drive was really fun. We talked about movies and stuff, and my friend's sister was talking about Lord of the Rings, and she said something about liking Aragorn. I said I prefered Arwen by miles. That was my only hint really, buutt...
    We stopped at a coffee shop on the way to sit down and have some lunch, and suddenly her mom asks me,

    "So Jazzy...are you gay or bi?"

    I was COMPLETELY caught off guard, it was really quite funny...apparently I looked like a deer in the headlights. Eventually I squeaked out "Erm..I...I'm...gay."

    Her sister responded by jumping up and shouting "I KNEW IT! I KNEWW IITTT!"

    So I came out to My best friend's mom, sister and boyfriend all in one go! I was pretty happy :slight_smile: (they have good gaydars! Jeez!)

    We got to her grandma's and I met her grandma, and came out to her via Liz (my friend's sister) saying that If she was gay, she would date me, and I was like *sarcasm* "Damn Liz, why did you choose to be straight?!" Her grandma asked about it, and I told her.

    Her aunt is gay as well, and I came out to her and we had a really great 2-hour chat about it. :slight_smile:

    The whole weekend, I felt more like myself than I ever have. I talked about girls I liked and who I found attractive without being shy about it, and I felt so free about it!

    I wish everyone was like her family. (I mean, her mom TRIED to be gay as a teenager. She struggled with her straightness!! XD And her sister wants to be gay, and said if she was she'd be pouncing on me and shouting it from rooftops. XD HOW COOL IS THAT?! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

    OMG I hope I have a reaction that's anywhere close to that when I finally come out to my family. Well, my sister knows and was really cool about it when she found out but I'm not sure how my parents feel about the subject. Congrats to you, I'm so jealous.

    and "I looked like a deer in the headlights" lol u were shocked wern't you?:grin: I wish all familes were like that...I envy people with families who are very accpeting and make them feel human.:frowning2:

    but i am glad u had a fun comming out to ur pals.
