I came out to one of my best friends over the weekend. I was a little nervous when talking with him, but I figured he would be okay with it. I thought he'd be a bit shocked maybe. He was totally awesome and supportive. Then he came out to me! How cool! We talked about the upcoming divorce, the trust issues, my long, long process in figuring out my sexuality. We'd always said that he and I share a brain, that's how much alike we are, so I guess I shouldn't have been worried. Anyway, it was a great conversation and a relief.
