Ok, so I know you guys are probably sick of hearing me whine about figuring out how I should tell my close friend (in my defense I haven't seen her in over a month with crazy summer schedules) but I have a new query. When you came out, how did the positive/ surprised reactions react? In other words, what questions do you think she will have and how should I answer them? Thanks for all the help guys, trust me it is going a long way =)
My friend didn't have any questions...she was speechless:icon_bigg I think he/she may ask you since when do you feel it and if you are sure about it. Believe me,they are in shock,no time for questions.
I never got many questions other than "Really?" and "Are you sure?". The last one I answered with a quote from a now-long-forgotten TV show called Dinosaurs, where one of the characters comes out...as a vegetarian. "Are you sure? How long have you known?" "I've always kinda suspected. Ever since I was twelve, every time I see vegetables, I feel kinda...hungry." That usually tells them everything they want to know. Lex
Most of the people who I came out to directly were surprised, but rather good really. The main questions were the usual "how do you know?" "are you seeing someone?" "are you sure?" etc. As to how to answer them, just do it as honestly as you can
