Today I came out to my best friend. We were sitting in a park and I said that I had to tell him something personal about me and that it was going to be the first time I was going to say it face to face to somebody. He was worried because I hesitated a lot so he thought it was something horrible. And then I just asked him to promise me that no matter what he should still be my friend. He was really freaking out. Then I just said "I think I'm gay. I mean I like girls."
His answer : "That's all right. I'm really happy that you told me that because it means that I am important to you and that you trust me. Proud of you, buddy!"
I'm really glad that it went well, especially since it was my first coming out. I'm planning on telling other friends soon and I hope they will be as awesome as that friend.

I just told my best friend I'm trans. He reacted in a very similar way.

    So happy for you.

Yay! Glad it went well for you. The first one is always hard, but now that you've got that out of the way it gets better from there.
